Sikh Guards at the entrance to the Golden Temple at Amritsar. The barefooted Sikh guards with a spear and turban were seen all over the Golden Temple complex. Head coverings are mandatory for everyone entering the Golden Temple, not just for Sikhs as is going barefooted.
